The faith of the Syriac Catholic Church is the faith of the One Catholic Church, and is summarised in the Nicene Creed specified in the Niqia Congregation (325) and the Congregation of Constantinople (381). That is, faith in God, the One and Only, in Trinity: 

• •    The Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth

• •    The Son born of the Father of all ages, the incarnate Word of the Virgin Mary, died and crucified for the salvation of mankind, and rose on the third day as stated in the books

• •    The Holy Spirit emanates from the Father and the Son and is equally essential to them

With one apostolic holy Church, one baptism, the resurrection of the dead and new eternal life.
